Item Description

A nice example of a "Phacolite"-twinned Chabazite from the Springfield Quarry in Oregon. A predominant sharp, translucent, white/colorless twinned rhombic crystal group of Chabazite measuring 1.3 cm is are associated with minor Calcite on basalt matrix. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#5801). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
