Item Description

This mine is probably best known for its superb Bournonite specimens, but a find from around 2010 produced some attractive association specimens of Sphalerite with other minerals. The piece features sharp, well-formed, complex reddish-black Sphalerite crystals measuring up to 7 mm acorss on matrix. If you collect Bolivian minerals, interesting display specimens of sulfides or just interesting crystallized specimens, don't miss out. The crystals look beautiful under the microscope, and honestly I think there may be another species present, possibly some small crystals of Freibergite or Tetrahedrite.
