Rhodochrosite with Fluorite

These distinctive and eye-catching Chinese Rhodos appeared on the market a few years ago, and seem to have dried up now. The specimens really remind me of specimens I've seen from various mines in Colorado. This piece features a fairly sharp, semi lustrous, pink, flattened, stepped rhomobohedral group of Rhodochrosite with minor associated Fluorite. You really don't see many of these Rhodos from Wutong available, so don't pass this one up because the locality has produced little to nothing in the way of specimens in recent years.
