This locality is one of the most well-known specimen producers in the United States. It has yielded some amazing, large, impressive Amethyst crystals and groups, which are famous around the world. This piece is a lovely miniature of this classic material featuring sharp, well-formed faces with good luster and a mix of purple and nearly colorless hues. It's mostly translucent, but the color is good even for a smaller crystal. No real damage on the front side, but it is contacted on the back. Classic material from one of the premier Amethyst localities in the world.
