Item Description

A great, rarely seen, old classic example of the famous Propst Farm Rubies in the form of a single, sharp, semi-lustrous, euhedral hexagonal prism with a nice saturated, darker pinkish-red color. The piece is damage free as far as I can tell, and appears to be doubly-terminated, but there is a bit of attached glue on the base, so I can't tell if it's completely crystallized all the way around. If the piece was in fact doubly-terminated, it would be a complete "floater" specimen. This is one of the best examples I've seen from Propst Farm, and would make a fine addition to any thumbnail suite, a collection of gem crystals or specimens from the United States.
