Item Description

In the early 2000s, the Kharan District of Pakistan started producing some impressive Anatase and Brookite specimens. These are "Alpine-type" crystals, nearly identical to those of the European Alps in terms of size, color and quality. These Anatase crystals are some of the finest quality examples of the species to come from any locality in the last 20 years. This lovely small cabinet display specimen hosts a few razor sharp, highly lustrous, tetragonal crystals of Anatase measuring up to 6 mm which are sitting on a bed of white bladed Albite with a few associated Quartz crystals on matrix. Great quality all around, and very attractive up close! Compared with other Anatase crystals from famous discoveries like those from Norway, this quality on this piece is certainly equal in my mind.
