From the southeastern end of Brazil, here we have a classic Chrysoberyl specimen from Espirito Santo. These are true classics around the world, and certainly the most sought after Chrysoberyls extant. due to their famous and celebrated twinning "sixling" or "trilling" habit. This thumbnail shows the classic twinning habit with sharp lustrous faces, decent translucency and attractive greenish color. The twin is actually doubly-terminated with the classic brown "dot" at the center of the twin. The entire piece is complete all the way around, a complete "floater", and looks great from several angles. Very good quality, showy and a great thumbnail example of this classic material.
