Item Description

One of the great classics from Canada. Here we have a beautiful crystal group of Vesuvianite from the classic (now defunct) Jeffrey Mine Specimens from this locality are beloved for their beautiful colors which range from yellow-green to green to purple and even red in rare cases. This miniature display specimen features many very lustrous, gemmy, sharp, thin prisms of Vesuvianite intergrown and free of matrix. Many of the crystals are completely WATER CLEAR in areas, especially on the terminations. My favorite aspect of the piece is that it features a 2.4 cm doubly-terminated prism, which is quite rare in my experience with this material. There are a few contacts here and there, so it's not 100% damage free, but it's still really eye-catching and excellent quality. These pieces are now very hard to find on the market, so don't miss out on this one as there will be less and less available in the years to come.
