Item Description

A gorgeous group of sharp, well-formed, veyr attractive cubic Halites measuring up to 2.7 cm on a thin bit of matrix. The underside of the piece shows a sharp and distinct "cast" after an unknown preexisting mineral. Great quality, old time classic crystallized Halite from the Niedersachsen Potash Works locality. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#12990). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
