Very lustrous sharp, brownish-black Andradite Garnet crystals comprise this showy and excellent mounded specimen. The textbook, dodecahedral crystals reach a large 3.5 cm. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but it certainly only a modest detraction visually from the front display. Highly representative from this uncommon Mexican locale. If you collect Garnets or Mexicnan minerals, you need one of these in your collection.
