Gold on Quartz

Item Description

A wonderful specimen of the famous and eye-catching Golds from the Timmins area in Ontario. No specific mine was given, as there are literally dozens of them in the area, but it was purchased from a reliable Canadian source. Up close you can see the the brilliant, metallic, leaf-like flowing quality of the Gold as it gently sits on off-white to grey colored Quartz. Good quality and showy, and certainly a worthwhile pick up for a native elements collector, a Canadian minerals collector or somebody who collects thumbnails.
