Item Description

Some of the most classic Chyrsoberyl specimens in the world are those from Espirito Santo in the southeastern end of Brazil. This thumbnail with fine yellow-green color, good luster, and nice translucency shows interesting twinning and despite a few rough spots, is still very well-crystallized. It's doubly-terminated, but it's not complete all the way around as you can see from the photos. This 7.19 gram crystal is a fairly rare and highly sought-after specimen. It is a "classic," with good form and that beautiful color often seen in Brazilian Chrysoberyls. The piece was actually mined in the very beginning of 2018, and is a nice example of the material that has been on the market sporadically for decades.
