Item Description

A classic eye-catching specimen featuring dendritic/arborescent dark green Mottramite sprinkled over GEMMY Calcite crystals from Tsumeb. The crystallization is very good Mottramite, so much so that at first glance it looks like French Pyromorphite! Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7709). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
