A beautiful crystal group of Crocoite with great luster and the classic electric orange-red color. One end has a contact termination, and the other is partially crystallized, but it's still in good shape overall. These specimens might be well-known, but Crocoite is still a rare species, and the pieces from this locality are certainly the finest examples of the species extant. Crystals like this are certainly some of the most distinctive mineral species in the world. More than worthwhile for anybody who collects rare species for the size, gemminess and quality.
