Item Description

A beautifully well-formed, translucent, golden-green colored Sphalerite crystal is aesthetically sitting among porcelain-white Analcime trapezohedra on this fine thumbnail from a small find in 2005 at this famous locale. The piece is in great condition all the way around, and can be displayed from several angles. The Sphalerite measures 1.1 cm across. This style and color of MSH Sphalerite is rare. It is now difficult to obtain specimens from this locality as collecting has been limited / reduced in recent years, so if you collect minerals from this world famous prolific locality, don't miss out on this attractive thumbnail. From the collection of renowned mineral dealer, Charlie Key - the namesake for Keyite and Ludlockite.
