Item Description

Several fine quality, sharp, highly lustrous, golden-green Vesuvianite crystals to 2.2 cm are associated with pink Grossular Garnet on this specimen from the Jeffrey Mine. The combination of the green and the pink is certainly eye-catching. Minor contacts, but great shape and very attractive overall. This locality is completely closed down and will never produce these specimens again. Ex Charlie Key specimen. Charlie is arguably the most sucessful dealer of the second half of the 20th century, along with being the namesake for TWO mineral species (Keyite and Ludlockite).
