Item Description

Goshenite, the colorless variety of Beryl, is actually quite a bit rarer than the blue variety (Aquamarine). This piece plays a bit of "hide and seek", as the main Goshenite crystal is completely COLORLESS and WATER CLEAR, so it really blends in with the underlying Muscovite matrix. The main Goshenite is notably sharp and unusally tabular, which is not common for the species. The Goshenites are completely colorless with the largest measuring up to 1.7 cm. They have a GLASSY luster, and are gemmier in person than the pics make them appear. A really cool piece of this unique and lesser seen material, as it's not nearly as plentiful as it once was years ago.
