Item Description

A gorgeous specimen with a wonderful vug filled with deep forest green Paratacamite crystals to 5 mm or so, on matrix of sparkling Quartz plus soft blue Chrysocolla on matrix. Paratacamite is a rare copper zinc hydroxy halite, that is not often seen in well crystallized examples, but the crystals on this piece are very sharp and highly lustrous! A very worthwhile example of this beautiful material from Peru.
