Item Description

A classic specimen from the famous Foote Mine in western North Carolina. The piece features several groups of lustrous / somewhat pearly, off-white colored crystal groups of the well known phosphate Fairfieldite on matrix. The largest group measures 9 mm across. It is certainly a worthwhile display specimen for any collector of this material, as it's becoming very difficult to find any of these specimens on the market today.
