Item Description

Sharp, well-formed, very gemmy, soft green colored modified cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 1.6 cm are associated with flattened, rhombic, white/colorless crystals of Calcite measuring up to 3.3 cm from the famous Xianghualing Mine. The piece is in excellent shape on the display side, and shows well from several angles. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#12496). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
