Tourmaline

A beautiful, multicolored, very gemmy, lustrous, striated prismatic Tourmaline from Coronel Murta. The piece shows a sharp, lustrous pyramdial termination with smooth broad faces. My favorite part about these particular crystals is their unique coloration which features zones of pinkish, peach, yellow/gold and green hues. They are easy to spot as this blending of colors is unique and distinctive. Minor roughness in areas keeps it from being 100% perfect, but it's still incredibly GEMMY (clean enough to facet gemstones) and the color is beautiful when backlit. The crystal weighs 9.59 grams (according to the dealer label that accompanies the piece). Valued at $750 retail.
