Item Description

A gorgeous group of sharp, lustrous, gemmy to nearly transparent colorless highly compressed / tabular scalenohedral crystals of Calcite free of matrix matrix. The largest Calcite measures 4.1 cm across. A really showy and three-dimensional dipslay specimen, with virtually no damage and great aesthetics. Better in person, hard to photograph. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Originally priced at $600 around 10 years ago, and probably worth more today.
