Item Description

From the find of the Fall of 2004. These Brookite specimens are some of the finest quality "Alpine-type" Brookites in the world. Reminiscent of the finest TRUE ALPINE Brookite specimens from the Alps, these crystals are just as sharp, lustrous, gemmy and colorful. If the top specimens from Pakistan were found in the Italy or Switzerland, they would be worth thousands (!) of dollars apiece to knowledgable collectors (if you could even get a European collector to part with one). That's how good they are. This specimen features a few good quality, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, golden-orange color tabular Brookite crystals measuring up to 7 mm with associated Quartz sitting aesthetically on matrix. When backlit, the Brookites show a classic internal black "phantom" that is iconic and highly desirable for the species. A wonderful and colorful specimen of a species that is not often seen in fine quality crystals like this. The main crystals are undamaged as far as I can see with the naked eye, though there are a few accessory crystals that are contacted on the piece.
