A lovely display specimen of Epidote from the famous locality at Green Monster Mountain, Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. This piece hosts several dark green Epidotes with notably smooth, well-formed faces measuring up to 1.4 cm sitting among colorless to white Calcite rhombs and thin prismtic Quartz on host rock matrix. There are a few contacted crystals, so it's not 100% pristine, but it's still very eye-catching, and from an old rare style for the material dating back 40+ years.
