Description:A really attractive and unusual Tourmaline specimen featuring thin, prismatic, sage-green crystals in a "spray" (labeled as "Plumose") from the much, much less well-known pegmatites south of border from San Diego County. This is a unique rarity for the locale. Complete-all-around and excellent condition. From the worldwide collection of noted Idaho collector Geary Murdock. Among other accomplishments, Geary was responsible for discovering some of the finest gem grade deep blue Aquamarine crystals in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho - which remain arguably the finest Aquamarines from any North American locality.
