Amethyst (rare "Fenster" habit for the locality)

Item Description

This specimen is an attractive miniature piece consisting of good quality, sharp, translucent lustrous, prismatic, lavender prisms of Amethyst measuring up to 3.3 cm on matrix. The main Amethyst shows a distinct "Fenster" (window) habit, with notably skeletal faces. Good crystallized Amethyst isn't very common from Bolivia, and outside of the specimens from Anahi, these are the most well-known Amethysts to come out of Bolivia in a long time. A fine matrix piece and very attractive compared to many from Bombori.
