A classic Topaz specimen from the famous Thomas Range in Utah. Aside from Red Beryl, this is one of the most sought after and recognizable minerals from the area. A predominant, GEM quality, sherry colored Topaz with a few smaller accessory crystals and a little bit of attached rhyolite matrix comprises this attractive large thumbnail / toenail specimen. The Topaz crystal has incredibly sharp, highly lustrous faces with the classic modifications along the termination. A beautiful piece of this classic material from the western United States.
