Item Description

Classic green Cuprian Adamite crystals from the historic Ojuela mine in Mexico. The color is not common for Adamite from any locality, and the form, sharpness and luster makes this piece very desirable. Several well-formed, lustrous, "wedge"-shaped, pseudo-octahedral crystals can be seen sprinkled on the Limonite matrix. The crystals are admittedly small (about 3 mm), but they looks beautiful up close. The piece is in excellent condition overall. The color is what matters here. This mine is well known for its amazingly intense colors of Adamite, and this small cabinet is certainly a great example of said material.
