A classic, sharp, lustrous, GEM QUALITY euhedral, prismatic hexagonal crystal of Apatite with the well known yellow color from Cerro de Mercado. These crystals are not nearly as common on the market as they were about 25 years ago, and are certainly some of the most distinctive crystals of Apatite from any locality in the world. The crystal has great form and color, and would make a worthwhile addition to a small gem crystal suite, a collection of Mexican minerals, or a suite of Apatites. Overall, a good quality specimen of this renowned Mexican material, but there is a ding on the termination.
