Item Description

Two prominent, lustrous, prismatic, striated jet-black Schorls rest atop a matrix of show white "flowers" of Albite (var: "Cleavelandite") and sharp, gemmy, colorless Quartz crystals. The piece is in excellent condition overall and displays beautifully as you can see from the photos. Both of the Schorls are damage free, and the majority of the specimen is actually undamaged, save the edge / periphery where it detached from the pocket wall. The largest Schorl measures 5.6 cm long. A lovely, showy display specimen, and considering it's a "black and white" piece, it's a fine GEM crystal specimen from this prodigious locality in the high Pakistani mountains. Ex. Herb Obodda specimen, valued at $1,200.
