Schorl Tourmaline

A lovely Schorl display specimen from an unknown locale in Minas Gerais. This specimen features a sharply terminated black Schorl crystal with great luster which complements the well-striated prism faces. Minor Feldspar can be seen here and there. This is a good overall full-sized thumbnail of Schorl, despite a contact on the base. It's a nice respite from the plethora of Namibian Schorls on the market right now, don't miss out.
