Fluorite with Barite

Item Description

A lovely golden yellow crystal group of rather gemmy, sharp and lustrous cubic Fluorite with crystals measuring up to 5 mm on edge. The Fluorite crystals are so gemmy and they were difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. A "flower"-like group of associated bladed, pale blue Barite can be seen on the side of the piece. Tiny gold metallic Marcasite "balls" are sitts gently on the Fluorites, and even slightly included below the surface of the crystals. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district.
