Lilac Fluorite (classic material) (ex Peter Seroka Collection)

Item Description

Classic, sharp, translucent, lilac octahedra of Fluorite measuring up to 1.3 cm sit atop matrix from the famous locality at Cenovec / Zinnwald. Excellent condition overall, and this piece is a rather three-dimensional and showy display specimen, which is significant, as it's difficult to find good quality pieces like this from this old locality. Very attractive up close, and the majority of the crystals are undamaged. There is a slight overgrowth of light blue Fluorite on the side of the piece for a nice accent. A eye-catching and good quality example of this historic, classic material. The piece comes from the collection of Peter G. Seroka (#41-14-11).
