Item Description

A wonderful, very gemmy, bluish-purple crystal group of beautiful modified tetrahexahedra of Fluorite measuring up to 2.2 cm on edge. Associated bladed Barites makes for a nice touch. The Fluorites look beautiful up close, and the quality doesn't come through in the photos as well as it does in person. The piece is in great shape overall, with the only roughness around the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. The crystals are quite gemmy and they were incredibly difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district. BETTER IN PERSON. The specimen comes from the collection of John Arnaud, formerly of Westcliffe, Colorado. Valued at $1,250.00
