Item Description

Mount Saint-Hilaire is one of the world's most significant localities, and produces many "best in the world" specimens of a lot of minerals. This piece features a sharp, lustrous, white trapezohedral Analcime crystals measuring 1.9 cm with minor black Aegirine, prismatic white Natrolite and reddish-brown "rosettes" of Rhodochrosite. Good quality and showy from a few directions. I'm told that collecting at this world famous locale is now forbidden, so specimens will become very difficult to find.
