Item Description

One of the most classic localities for Adamite in the world is the Ojuela mine in Mexico. This material is some of the most beautiful and classic material for the species. This particular specimen features sharp, lustrous, translucent to gemmy, yellow-green crystals of Adamite measuring up to 1.0 cm on gossan matrix. This is a good overall specimen of this classic material and the best of these specimens will go down as some of the finest quality and color Adamite in history. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#3480). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
