Item Description

A hard to find specimen of Brazilianite from the Mendes Pimentel locality in Brazil, which is better known for outstanding E osphorite specimens. The elongated crystal forms with chisel terminations are distinctive to this locale. The sharp, well-formed, yellow-green crystals are translucent and have fairly good luster. They are sitting aesthetically on grey Feldspar matrix, which is rare for Brazilianite worldwide. Crystals measure up to 3.3 cm on this eye-catching and balanced specimen. Valued at $1800.
