Marialite (Scapolite) (rare locality specimen)

Item Description

A euhedral, sharp, heavily striated, translucent, soft yellow color, prismatic crystal of Marialite Scapolite from the lesser known locality at Santa Maria do Jetiba. The piece is in great shape overall, with the only broken area at the base where it detached from the pocket wall. I've actually never seen a piece of this material from this locality, and it would make a worthwhile additional for a thumbnail collector or a collector of Brazil minerals.
