Item Description

A classic lustrous "snowflake"-twinned / reticulated Cerussite on matrix from the famous locality at Tsumeb. The twin measures 2.3 cm across, and has superb form with incredibly well-defined faces, bright faces and decent translucency. It's in excellent condition, with only a small contact on the outer edge. It's displays beautifully as you can see from the photos, and it a fantastic display specimen that would make a superb addition to any collection. With the price of Tsumeb specimens rising daily, this is a great opportunity to snag a classic specimen from what is considered by most people to be the most prolific mineral locality in the world. We have this piece priced in the inventory at $1,500. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#1501). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
