Item Description

A classic specimen from the famous Foote Mine in western North Carolina. The piece features sharp, lustrous, translucent, off-white colored crystals of the well known phosphate Fairfieldite on matrix. It is certainly worthwhile for any collector of phosphates or minerals from the Foote Mine.
