Item Description

Minium is a relatively rare lead oxide and specimens from the Tonopah-Belmont Mine are virtually impossible to obtain. This piece fatures bright reddish colored Minium in micro aggregates associated with beautifully contrasting blue-green Malachite or Rosasite on matrix. A beautiful specimen for any thumbnail collector, secondary ore mineral collector or for anybody who loves Arizona mienrals. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#10948). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
