Item Description

Here we have a really cool miniature specimen of light green colored Apatites from the famous Sapo mine from a few years ago. These crystals have a unique appearance with compressed prismatic form, but still showing very sharp, highly lustrous faces with nice translucency. Interestingly enough, the piece has hollow cavity along the sidecar crystal, that it actually open througout, so you can blow through it like a whistle. With the exception of the hollow crystal, I don't see any real damage on the display side. HARD TO PHOTOGRAPH, best seen in person. If you collect Apatites, phosphate or Brazilian minerals. don't miss out on this interesting and eye-catching Apatite that truly doesn't look like an Apiate I've seen from any other locality. It appears that Sapo may never produce these attractive specimens of unusual Apatite again.
