Item Description

A gorgeous multi-color specimen of cubic Fluorite featuring sharp, well-formed "phantom" crystals measuring up to 3.2 cm showing gorgeous color zones of golden-yellow, pinkish, purple and blue. The largest Fluorite measures 3.2 cm on edge and the base of the piece hosts a few associated "Ruby Jack" Sphalerites along with a few small Sphalerites included inside the Fluorites. The piece displays wonderfully as you can see from the photo, and it GLOWS with color when backlit as the outer purple / blue exterior is illuminated by the beautiful yellow interior. Excellent condition all around with only a few small imperfections to speak of. Interestingly, the edge of the piece shows a bit of exposed golden Fluorite without the "phantom" cubic overgrowth for a really nice effect. This locality is well known for amazing multi-color Fluorite specimens, though they are few and far between on the market these days. This area is completely closed down and will never produce these specimens again. Valued at $3,500.
