Fluorite with Arsenopyrite (new find)

Item Description

A very aesthetic stacked cluster of semi-lustrous, pretty purple color Fluorite octahedrons from a new find at this remote prolific Chinese mine. The striking capping octahedron is 3.2 cm across and is gently associated with silvery bladed crystals of Arsenopyrite on etched Quartz matrix. A complete-all-around miniature with great balance, form and aesthetics. The main crystal is undamaged to the naked eye, and only superficial roughness around the edges where it was removed from the pocket. It's hard to find good isolated octahedra of Fluorite like this from most Chinese localities.
