Item Description

A showy and fine quality cabinet sized display specimen of this classic pegmatite material featuring a sharp, prismatic, striated, jet-black Schorl Tourmaline crystal aesthetically flaring out of a large "rosette"-shaped group of pearly, lustrous, white Albite (var: "Cleavelandite") with an associated group of "Star" Muscovite on the side! The Schorl is exposed to show about 3.3 cm worth of the crystal, but it goes all the way through to the base of the specimen. No real damage to speak of and just very showy and good quality. Valued at $1,800.
