Autunite (classic material) (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

A classic and very seldom seen specimen of the famous Autunites from the Daybreak Mine which date back to the 1950s-1960s. This piece is a wonderful display specimen featuring foliated groups of beautiful yellow-green orthorhombic blades, with crystals measuring up to 1.2 cm on minor matrix. This specimen is of the highest quality and is nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of contacting on one end. This is the classic US mineral and locality for the species. Valued at $800.
