Item Description

A beautiful miniature specimen featuring the beautiful hydrated lead copper carbonate sulfate, Caledonite in the form of medium rich electric blue, flattened, straited crystals sitting on matrix. Certainly the Caledonite crystals are the most well-known mineral from this locality, and when you see crystals like this (measuring up to 4 mm!) it's a fairly big deal. I believe a tiny bit of whitish / silver colored Leadhillite is present on the piece as well. From the collection of Clay Williams (#CW-1138). Valued at $450.
