A rare, well-crystallized, "carmine" red / purplish red colored cube of the sought after halide Villiaumite The crystal is sharp and well-formed, and very gemmy when backlit. There is some superficial roughness on the back, but overall, it's still aA showy thumbnail of this fairly obscure species from one of the classic localities for the material. Ex Charlie Key personal collection. Charlie is arguably the most sucessful dealer of the second half of the 20th century, along with being the namesake for TWO mineral species (Keyite and Ludlockite).
