Calcite (Manganoan)

Item Description

A wonderful group of sharp, lustrous, translucent, pink (manganese-bearing) compressed crystals of Calcite with beautiful white overgrowths on a few corners. No real damage that I can see, and it's SO three-dimensional and showy! The largest Calcite measures 5.6 cm across. A really nice dipslay specimen, with great aesthetics. Better in person, hard to photograph, this one is better than most we've offered of this material, and would make a great addition to a Calcite suite or a Russian collection. Valued at $750.
