This is so reminiscent of England it's uncanny! This is something that I have not had the opportunity to offer on the auctions, mostly because I only have seen a few pieces of the material in my life from Bolivia. This specimen features a few nice, sharp, lustrous crystals of Quartz that are included with Hematite / iron oxide to produce some of the most intense red Quartz crystals I've seen from Bolivia. The largest crystal measures 4 mm. For you Quartz collectors out there, this is something that I'm sure you don't have. I'm sorry I don't have a more specific locality for this material, but unfortunately that can be the nature of the beast with Bolivian minerals. I know the piece is indeed Bolivian in origin. It was purchased by Brian Kosnar directly from the miner who collected them.
